DEEP NOSTALGIA: DAMNED TO TRY OUT
We’re now one step further to bring our great grandmas or any other historic persons back to live – at least a little. With Deep Nostalgia, a Deep Learning AI from the platform MyHeritage, a website for genealogical research, it’s now possible to convert photos into moving images. Try it out yourself, you only need a free account to upload your images via drag & drop and you will be able to download the short videos in seconds.
AI DUNGEON: WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
AI Dungeon is a browser-based game powered by artificial intelligence, also available for iOS and android devices. Their “vision is to use AI to revolutionize the way games are made”. Simply said: there is no end to a story since there’re no pre-written storylines by developers – it’s an infinite text adventure.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The player starts in a given storyline and can write whatever he wants from there. It’s a sandbox game which means that there is no specific goal, it’s more about exploration and interaction with the environment of the game. The player can choose between three categories of text which determine the action that follows: Do, Say and Story.
While the access to most of their virtual worlds require a paid subscription model, there is at least one free world called Kedar you can play for free.
And now imagine both technologies merged together: an endless story reacting on face expressions.
