AI-Plays of the month: Zendo & Scroobly

TRAIN YOUR OWN MACHINE WITHOUT ANY CODING SKILLS

Zendo, a new application by DeepAI, is now out of beta and allows users to use a so-called agent that masters visual tasks in no time. In practice, this means that you upload, for example, 10 images of trees and classify them manually as a tree. If you now add more images showing trees, they will be classified automatically.

Next to your own project, you can also participate in community tasks. Check out this example where you can help identifying Waldo (yes, the one from Where is Waldo). You might need to create an account which is done in 30 seconds.

BECOME A DIGITAL ANIMATOR IN SECONDS WITH THE HELP OF AI

Our second Play this month is the result of a cooperation between Google and bit.studio, a creative technology agency from Thailand (who happen to have an interactive playground themselves in the physical world). With Scroobly you can “create fun animations in real-time with your camera”. Using multiple machine learning techniques for predicting 3D facial landmarks (MediaPipe Facemesh) and motion gesture tracking (PoseNet), the application empowers individuals to become digital creatives using AI. They also communicate clearly that they don’t save any user data.
